Hi Dick,

Just wanted to say thanks for your help with my hilux 4wd with Holden V6 and auto!

Many so called mechanics have failed to diagnose at all, whereas you got it right in
5 minutes flat! no substitute for skill and experience.

I'll get the new O2 sensor fitted aswell as the wideband sensor and then we can really
see what this baby is capable of.

As you said, its a sick old motor at the moment... but I'm sure with your help I'll get it
sorted.

Thanks again mate.

Cheers,
Bart

Hi,

So I just booked the truck in to have an 18mm fitting put into the exhaust before
the cat tomorrow. So its ready for a wideband A/F.

Just looking to replace the O2 sensor and fuel pressure regulator aswell.

Dick, you said pref genuine O2 sensor, which is $110 from Hawko Holden,
Can I go for an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator? as it will save me $130 over
genuine?

Cheers,
Bart

Not a problem Dick, credit where credit is due mate.

OK no worries about the fuel pressure reg, I'll hold off for now.
But I will get the O2 sensor from Hawkesbury Valley Holden.

Dropped the hilux off this morning early to get the 18mm bung fitted,
so that will be done this afternoon.

Then I just gotta grab the O2 sensor.

Excited to see what you can do with it mate.
Especially once you have your wide band A/F in there aswell.

Cheers,
Bart

ToMMMay had a look at your video and sounds a bit like cylinder pressure leaking out somewhere.  Try using the Demo inside Dos Box. Tested DST with Dos Box in XP and Windows7. Works perfectly
